Writing a Business Letter: Letter Number 2

Time to write a second letter this one is a little bit different. On this letter we will add the "SENDER's" (that's you) information into the ADDRESS BLOCKS of the LETTER--see the example of the letter that I use in my directions for adding a TABLE to your letter.

Oh yeah, we are also going to add a table to our letter.

For those of you that will miss this lesson or those of you that have questions about "what" and "how" we did, I will leave a screen cast for you so that you can also follow along later.

Here's what we are going to use:

Now OPEN GOOGLE DOCS to a NEW BLANK TEMPLATE and you are ready to go!

1. Open Google DOCS and select a BLANK document
2. Split the screen and place the above post on one half and your Google DOC on the other
3. Follow the directions for creating a business formatted letter and adding a TABLE
Either from Mr. Winkelman or from the Video below
4. Be sure to add your ADDRESS to the ADDRESS BLOCK (see the example below).
4. Embed your finished letter in your BLOG
5. Submit your POST URL to Google Classroom

Here's the Screen Cast with the directions for the lesson:
